UPPCL (Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited) manages electricity distribution across Uttar Pradesh through four zone-based DISCOMs. PVVNL covers the Meerut zone, MVVNL covers Lucknow, DVVNL covers Agra and PuVVNL covers Varanasi. The central complaint number and online portal work across all zones.
To file a complaint, call 1912 (24 hours) or toll-free 1800-180-3002. For quick online complaint registration, visit jhatpat.upenergy.in and enter your Account Number. For formal written complaints, use the grievance section at upenergy.in with your 11-digit Account Number (on your electricity bill), division name and address.
UPPCL is regulated by UPERC (Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission). Billing dispute responses are required within 15 days. Power restoration timelines vary by area classification.
