KSEB Limited (Kerala State Electricity Board) is the electricity generation, transmission and distribution utility for the entire state of Kerala, covering all 14 districts including Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Palakkad, Kannur, Kasargod, Idukki, Wayanad and Pathanamthitta.
To file a complaint, call 1912 (24 hours) or the toll-free number 1800-425-1912. Email cgrf@kseb.in with your Consumer Number (on your electricity bill), electrical section name, address and a description of the issue. Online complaints and bill payment are available at <a href="https://www.kseb.in" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">kseb.in</a> under Consumer Services. Note the complaint reference number.
KSEB is regulated by <a href="https://www.erckerala.org" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">KSERC (Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission)</a>. Billing disputes must receive a written reply within 15 days. Power restoration timelines are set under KSERC supply code regulations.
If KSEB does not resolve satisfactorily, approach the KSEB Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF). Each electrical circle has a CGRF — details at kseb.in. Further escalation is to the Electricity Ombudsman of Kerala, whose contact is available at erckerala.org.
