Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited (AEML) is the electricity distribution company for Mumbai's suburbs including Dharavi, Chembur, Vikhroli, Kurla, Bhandup, Mulund and surrounding areas. This page lists the verified official complaint channels for electricity grievances in AEML's service area.
To register a complaint, call 19122 which is available 24 hours a day and is toll-free from AEML service areas. For billing disputes and written complaints, email aemcustomercare@adani.com with your Consumer Account Number (CAN), registered address and a description of the problem. You will receive a complaint reference number — keep it for follow-up.
AEML operates under the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC). Billing disputes must be resolved within 15 days. Power restoration timelines depend on fault type as specified under MERC regulations.
If AEML does not give a satisfactory resolution, escalate to the MERC Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum at merc.gov.in. The forum is free to approach and is independent of AEML.
