Indane LPG Wrong Weight Cylinder Complaint — Your Rights

A standard Indane LPG domestic cylinder must weigh 14.2 kg of gas (also called a 14.2 kg refill). If the cylinder delivered to you appears underweight or lighter than usual, you have the right to have it weighed before accepting.
Ask the delivery person to weigh the cylinder on a reliable scale in your presence. The cylinder weight printed on the body of the cylinder is the tare weight (empty weight). The total weight minus tare weight should equal 14.2 kg. If short, you can refuse the delivery and ask for a replacement.
