WBSEDCL (West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited) distributes electricity across all of West Bengal except Kolkata city and its immediate adjoining areas, which are served by <a href="https://www.complaintmitra.in/en/support-directory/electricity-cesc-kolkata-complaint" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">CESC</a>. WBSEDCL covers Howrah Rural, Hooghly, Burdwan, Nadia, Murshidabad, Malda, North 24 Parganas Rural, South 24 Parganas Rural, Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Cooch Behar, Alipurduar and all other districts.
To file a complaint, call 1912 (24 hours) or toll-free 1800-103-5666. Email cgrf@wbsedcl.in with your Consumer ID (on your electricity bill), subdivision name, address and a description of the issue. Online complaints and bill payments are available at <a href="https://www.wbsedcl.in" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">wbsedcl.in</a>. Note the complaint reference number.
WBSEDCL is regulated by <a href="https://wberc.gov.in" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">WBERC (West Bengal Electricity Regulatory Commission)</a>. Billing disputes must receive a written reply within 15 days. Power restoration timelines are set under WBERC supply regulations.
