Voltas Limited, a Tata Group company, is India's number one air conditioner brand by market share. Voltas ACs are sold across split, window, inverter and commercial segments. Common complaints include AC not cooling, compressor failure, gas leak, excessive noise, installation problems, delayed service, warranty claim rejection and billing disputes for AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts).
To file a complaint, call the Voltas customer care number 1860-599-4555 (9am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday). Email voltas@tatacare.in with your model number, serial number, purchase date, dealer name, address and a description of the issue. Complaint can also be raised at <a href="https://www.voltas.com/contact-us" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">voltas.com</a> under Contact Us or through the Voltas World app. Note the service request number.
Voltas services are carried out through authorised Voltas service centres. If the initial response is unsatisfactory, ask for a second level escalation to the Regional Service Manager. For warranty-related issues, ensure you have your warranty registration and original invoice.
If Voltas does not resolve satisfactorily, escalate to the Tata Consumer Grievance Cell. You can also approach the National Consumer Helpline at 1915 or file with the consumer court at <a href="https://edaakhil.nic.in" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">edaakhil.nic.in</a>.
